Commissioned by Fish to be part of the artwork for his 13th Star album. The title reflected that this was the 13th studio album from Fish during his musical career, and the star inspired by the hundreds of 5 pointed golden stars painted on the ceiling of a tomb that he had seen when visiting Egypt...it sparked off an idea.

Originally conceived as a vision of an angel sailing silently through dark waters with nothing more than a lantern to guide her way through the unknown while a heavy mist is rolling over the sea. She stares heavenwards searching for the special 13th Star.

The boat has a single sail with a dark star painted on it, and with two eyes painted on the front of the wooden boat, a symbolic tradition of some seafaring nations from
the Greeks onwards - to help guide and protect the sailors.

There is also a connection here with the eye of the God Ra. With the terrible glance from the Eye of Ra his daughter came into being. It was Hathor; the Egyption celestial goddess...the Mistress of Heaven who was originally a goddess of destruction (Hathor-Sekhmet) who
eventually became the goddess of happier times.
